Born on the 8th of June in 1985, Michael de Kooker discovered his passion for music at an early age. Listening to all kinds of music, he quickly found dance music the most interesting genre. At the age of 12 he started to play keyboards and a couple of years later Michael started to create his owns tracks using different kinds of software. Perfecting his production skills, in 2005 and 2006 his tracks became better and better. In 2007 finally happened what Michael had been waiting for: his track ‘Body Combat - a co-production with DJ Jerom - was signed to Cloud 9 Dance. His first solo release ‘The Twist’ was released on Combined Forces and was picked up by DJ's like Tiesto and Paul van Dyk. After a well-received remix of the classic ‘Sunflower’ by Vincent de Moor, 2008 became an amazing year for Michael when his remix of Veracocha’s ‘Carte Blanche’ reached the Dutch charts and became one of the hottest dance tracks around! Trying to produce many different styles with aliases like M.W.T. and Mr. Monsieur, Michael is able to show his talent in many different ways. As a result several of Michael’s tracks are currently played by many DJ’s from all over the world. With productions and remixes being released on labels like Deal, Dedicated and Kompressor, Michael de Kooker can be considered as a multi-talented musician with serious potential.more
